Evidence that can be followed

Record the event, bind its identity, replay the path.

Witness and Replay preserve canonical hashes, append-only sequence, restart and restore evidence, memory diffs, and explanation receipts.

Integrity surfaces

Canonical hashing

Binds exact bytes and normalized identity to the evidence record.

Append-only journal

Preserves sequence without silently replacing earlier state.

Restart and restore

Tests whether state survives restart, backup, and isolated restoration.

Memory Diff

Explains what changed between witnessed states.

Explanation receipt

Connects a result to its sources, transformations, and limitations.

Public V001 boundary

The public V001 reproduction material establishes an authority-null control surface around signed observations, append-only journaling, deterministic replay, restart, backup, restore, and the absence of action or promotion endpoints. It does not establish production V002 readiness.
