The problem
Ambitious systems can drift into belief-protection if contradictions are treated as obstacles instead of contributions.
Proposed behavior
Make contradictions normal: missing evidence, privacy risks, failed assumptions, simpler alternatives, and security concerns should be welcome.
What could go wrong?
Bad-faith challenges can disrupt discussion, so moderation must distinguish critique from harassment.
Privacy expectation
Challenge public ideas without exposing private information.
Popularity surfaces an idea; it does not grant architectural authority.
